Golden Globes 2014 Jewelry Highlights

The 71st annual Golden Globes welcomed the award season with elegant looks and vintage glamour. Hollywood’s leading ladies in film and television opted for classic white diamonds and Art Deco jewels to celebrate the occasion. Here’s some of the jewelry highlights of the evening:

 

 

Best Actress in a Motion Picture winner Cate Blanchett donned a black lace Armani Privé mermaid gown. Her elegant faux bob revealed a pair of diamond cluster earrings featuring marquise cut diamonds in a swirling foliate design.

Best Supporting Actress winner Jennifer Lawrence accessorized an airy white and black Dior gown with Art Deco jewelry featuring white diamonds, black diamonds and emeralds. During an interview with Ryan Seacrest , J-Law created yet another memorable awards ceremony moment when she unknowingly dropped one of her diamond bracelets on the red carpet.

 

 

Jessica Chastain paired a black strapless Givenchy gown with an antique style diamond and platinum necklace and matching diamond ring.

 

 

Uma Thurman wore a black silk lace Atelier Versace gown with a bold pair of diamond chandelier earrings and stacked diamond and platinum bracelets.

 

 

Former Harry Potter starlet Emma Watson opted for daring at this year’s ceremony by pairing an entirely backless red Dior couture dress with black skinny trousers and accessorizing with only one pearl earring on her left lobe.

 

 

Golden Globes nominee Julia Roberts accessorized her black and white Dolce & Gabbana dress with a pair of emerald cut diamond studs and and two diamond rings.

 

 

Naomi Watts wore a shimmering gold Tom Ford gown with a diamond and yellow gold collar necklace and yellow gold serpent bangle bracelet.
