With wedding season in full swing, new bridal jewelry trends have emerged shaping purchasing decisions. Based off customer feedback and inquiries we’ve put together a list of five top trends for wedding and engagement rings in 2015:
FANCY SHAPED DIAMONDS
Fancy shaped center diamonds such as cushion and asscher have taken the limelight. Many subsequent bridal jewelry trends for 2015 revolve around these new favorites.
CLASSIC ENGAGEMENT RING SETTINGS
Fancy cut centers are often being paired with classic style settings featuring modern clean lines. The halo setting continues to be a top engagement ring style, particularly among budget-conscious couples looking to maximize a diamond’s brilliance.
ETERNITY WEDDING RINGS
Fancy shapes have made their way into wedding rings as well. Eternity rings remain a top style with fancy shaped diamonds going all the way around matching or complimenting their engagement ring’s center stone. The growing stackable ring trend has also influenced wedding ring selections as couples consider how a wedding band fits with an existing piece.
Antique style rings continue to be favorite choice. There is still a great appreciation for pieces featuring elaborate milgrain detailing. Intricate etching and designs have also extended into men’s wedding bands as well.
WHITE AND ROSE
Platinum and white gold remain the top metals of choice, but combining white metal with a hint of rose gold has also been a growing trend this year.
Lastly, here are a few tips for creating the perfect bridal ring set: For a seamless feel, we recommend looking for a wedding band with similar contours as the engagement ring. Also be sure to choose the same metal type. It’s ok to get creative, but just note that a wedding band typically should not overpower an engagement ring.
Which is your favorite bridal jewelry trend for 2015?

With the summer days winding down, we’re looking forward to upcoming fashion and color trends and how they interplay with jewelry design in the new season. Earlier this year, global color authority Pantone identified 10 prominent hues for Fall 2013. The organization gathers insight by surveying designers of New York Fashion Week and beyond to preview the season’s upcoming color trends.
“Just as the leaves change in autumn, the consumer will enjoy the ability to change their ‘look’ and try a new approach to their wardrobe for brisk days ahead,” said Leatrice Eiseman, Pantone Color Institute Executive Director. “The fall 2013 palette allows for that versatility and experimentation” she added.
The top 10 color trend predictions released in the PANTONE® Fashion Color Report Fall 2013 include Emerald(also ‘Color of the Year’), Mykonos Blue, Linden Green, Acai, Samba, Koi, Deep Lichen Green, Vivacious, Turbulence and Carafe. With our eye for on-trend jewelry designs, we’ve curated a collection of gemstone jewels reflecting their findings:
Emerald – the Pantone 2013 Color of the Year continues to sparkle into autumn.
Mykonos Blue – the tanzanite gemstone best represents this bold and classic blue. This hue pairs well with Emerald or Linden Green. Linden Green – accessorizing with this yellow-toned hue will brighten any of fall’s deeper shades. Evoke this color with green amethyst paired against yellow gold. Acai – a deep purple amethyst gemstone best reflects this rich and exotic plum hue. Works best with Emerald or Samba but versatile enough to be accessorized with any color to create a powerful fall fashion statement. Samba – for an expressive and dramatic jewelry accessory, turn to spirited gemstones such as red agate. Koi – dazzling and shimmering best describe this orange hue. Use citrine gemstones to invigorate your fall wardrobe. Deep Lichen Green – capture both ends of the seasonal spectrum with tahitian black peacock green pearls. Vivacious – an unruly and wildly deep fuchsia hue. Add a touch of ebullient sensuality to your look with ruby gemstones. Turbulence – hematite gemstones beautifully capture this glamorous shade of grey. Carafe – this rich, deep brown provides an interesting and sophisticated alternative to the staple black. Smokey topaz gemstone jewelry pairs well with some of the more expressive colors such as Samba, Koi and Vivacious.
