Bold reds, delicious plums and glittering green gems lit up the 83rd Annual Academy Awards. Best Supporting Actress nominee Amy Adams glittered in a L’Wren Scott cap-sleeved gown paired with $1,350,000 of diamond jewelry. Jennifer Lopez looked simply angelic draped in a Zuhair Murad floor length-gown. Her sleek pony tail revealed a set of glittering floral motiff diamond earrings worth $3 million.

Halley Berry broke the mold with 5 diamond and platinum bangle cuffs and a pair of 3 carat diamond studs. While looking gorgeous as ever, her choice of wardrobe was rather questionable.

Jessalyn Gilsig paired her eggplant jacquard David Meister gown with teardrop earrings adorned with diamonds and pink, yellow and blue sapphires. Her 282 carat pink sapphire bangle bracelet set in white and rose gold helped complete an unforgettable look.

Congratulations to Prince William on his engagement to Kate Middleton! Honoring his late mother, The Prince recently announced the engagement ring he gave his new fiancé Kate Middleton was the same one Prince Charles once gave to Princess Diana. “I’d been carrying it around with me on my right side for about three weeks…” Prince William said in an interview with CNN. “I literally would not let it go. Everywhere I went I was keeping hold of it because I knew if this thing disappeared, I’d be in a lot of trouble. Celebrities graced numerous November issue magazines wearing Simon G jewelry. The President has a good eye for fine jewelry. In December 2009, Mr. Obama gave this exquisite custom made Garavelli diamond brooch pin to Michelle as an anniversary gift.  The brooch has a floral design and scintillates with pave-set round brilliant cut white diamonds.  She first wore it on Oprah’s “Christmas at the White House” special and has been wearing it in a variety of creative ways ever since, including attached to her pearl necklace as a pendant on the cover of Good Housekeeping. New photos have surfaced of Brad Pitt wearing what seems to be a classic style wedding band. Cameras caught a glimpse of the sparkler on two recent occasions. The first was over the weekend when the A-list actor was out shopping with daughter Zahara for her birthday at The Grove in Hollywood, California. He was smiling and seemed to be in high spirits.  The second was yesterday on the set of his new film Moneyball.
